Cookie and storage choices

Essential administration sessions use a secure, HttpOnly cookie. Public readers do not need an account. A reading-mode preference or consent choice may be stored only on general-audience pages.

Optional analytics starts only after a reader accepts it and can be withdrawn. Kids pages avoid optional storage and tracking. Third-party advertising is disabled until approval, appropriate consent and vendor configuration are completed.

A first-party privacy-choice dialog is not a substitute for a Google-certified consent platform where Google requires one.
